Seek First To Understand

Stephen Covey, influential author of “The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People” offers the advice, “Seek first to understand.” Another person of influence, a certain Obi-wan Kenobi, asks, “Who is the more foolish? The fool, or the fool who follows him?”

THE INFLUENCIER is no fool. Rather than lead you astray with untested advice (or shall we say, “Unfluence“), THE INFLUENCIER is building his portfolio, making connections, gathering observations, and testing a wide array of theories and strategeries. He is engaged in a quest to understand the inner workings, personality and culture of Empire Avenue.

THE INFLUENCIER has set a goal: Achieve a Stock Price of e30 and Sell Out 10,000 shares. That goal is nearly a reality. At which time he reaches that goal and purchases the 12,500 share upgrade (or July 27th whichever comes first), this blog will go live.  Until that time, find him on Empire Avenue trading as (e)DARING, on twitter @DougUpdates, and occasionally submitting an article to William Pitcher’s Empire Building Network.
